The institution has been provided with the high speed internet connectivity of bandwidth 2 MBPS. It is also proposed to upgrade the bandwidth to 4 MBPS for the next academic year. In future, wifi connectivity for the entire campus in the new college buildings at thatchur, Arni will also be established.
LOGISTICS
College Bus
For the transportation of the students, a college bus has been provided for the University College of Engineering Arni. The bus is plying in all working days between hostels and college campus on separate singles for both boys and girls hostel students. As of now, bus facility shall not be provided for day scholars. The bus also serves for the students to carry out industrial visits in the nearby areas and to attend special programmes, if any, conducted in the neighbouring colleges.
Office Van
An Omni van is also provided to the administrative office of the University College of Engineering Arni for carrying out the official works of the institution. Since, the college one of the nodal center for both Anna University Chennai and Anna University of Technology Chennai, the vehicle shall also be utilized for University Examinations related assignments. The vehicle shall regularly be under the possession of head of the institution.
Hospital facilities
In order to facilitate the proper medical care for both the day scholars and hostel students of University College of Engineering Arni, there exists an upgraded Primary Health Centre (PHC) nearby to the college campus. The hospital is well established with all required medical equipments.
It is also having sufficient number of qualified physicians. Whenever and wherever required, the college management has been taking necessary initiatives for the Students of UCEA to utilize the facility at the PHC for the speedy recovery of the students who require medical treatment.
