Four Days Certification Training Programme on “Rational Application Development”
Anna University of Technology Chennai is more vibrant in organizing variety of development programme in the first year itself. According to the rapid technology development in the software industries there is a need to bridge the gap between the industry and institution. In order to meet these needs Anna University of Technology Chennai is organizing various training programmes at the university campus by the industrial experts of various leading industries. In this connection, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Anna University of Technology Chennai has organized a Four Day Certification Training Programme on “Rational Application Development” in collaboration with IBM Academic Initiative, India during October 28 to 31, 2010. The programme included theory and practical sessions on latest web technologies such as Java, Web development basics and advances, Databases and Debugging Web Applications, etc. Anna University of Technology Chennai is providing this IBM International Certification programme to the student community and faculty members at free of cost. In the inaugural function of this programme Dr. P.Narayanasamy, Director Academics Courses and Student Affairs welcomed the gathering, Dr.C.Thangaraj, Vice Chancellor, Anna University of Technology Chennai delivered inaugural address, Dr.S.Gowri, Registrar of Anna University of Technology Chennai gave vote of thanks. Er.Rama Shankar, Technical Consultant, IBM India delivered keynote address and handled Technical Sessions include practical session.
