Anna University of Technology Chennai is one of the Premier Technical University in India located at Chennai, Tamilnadu. It is established by the Government of Tamilnadu. Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DCSE) is established in September 2010. DCSE functions as one of the University Departments having academic autonomy of having its own syllabus and curriculum. It offers postgraduate and research programmes in various disciplines of Computer Science & Engineering.

The Department functions under the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering.  Dr.T.T.Mirnalinee is currently the Course Coordinator of the Department.

The faculty members, research scholars and students are doing research in fields of Computer Science and Engineering. The Department is planning and organizing various development programmes for faculty as well as students.
