ABOUT US

Consequent to the enactment of the Anna University  of  Technology  Chennai Act  2010,  all the Colleges / Institutions offering courses of study in Engineering, Technology and Allied Sciences and falling within the University area comprising the districts of Chennai, Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai and Villupuram  in  the  state of  Tamil Nadu are to be affiliated to Anna University of Technology Chennai from 19 June 2010. Presently there are 165 self-financing, 4 constituent and 1 government engineering college under its fold.

The  Anna  University of Technology Chennai has to conduct examinations for the students admitted from 19 June 2010 to the University Departments, constituent and affiliated colleges.

The  office  of  the  Controller  of  Examinations  is  headed  by  Controller  of  Examinations. Presently Prof. A. Peer Mohamed is the Controller of Examinations.
